Ceramic Cross Ring was produced as a new ceramic packing based on the idea of increase the surface area to enhance the efficiency of mass transfer. Its structure is to add a cross-partition in rasching ring. At present, ceramic cross rings are only used as huddle packing in the bottom layer of the tower for support. Ceramic cross ring in the size of ¦µ80-¦µ150mm can be used as supporting material with the porosity larger than 60%. Its high density, excellent capacity of acid resistant and heat-resiatant and the ability of proof the corrosion of a varity of inorganic acid, organic acid and organic solvents besides hydrofluoric acid make it widly ues in chemical industry, metallurgy, gas and enviromental protection industries of the drying tower, absorption tower, cooling tower, washing tower and renewable tower, ect.
