Foam ceramic substrate is coated with the alumina, rare earth and the noble metal ( Pd, Pt and Rh), the SiC foam filter accomplishes the goal of purification of the automobile.

The advantages which suprior to the honeycomb cremaic substrate made of cordierite are at following aspects: faster thermal mass, higher intension and etc. The density of Sic foam flter can be designed by the engine emission capacity to reduce the back presssure, which can be 10, 15,25 30, 50 and 60 PPI.
